Love this Make up!!!
Date:February 7, 2012
Pros: well priced covers well
"I bought this make up after trying several different kinds, most recently, Bare Minerals. I have a good bit of sun damage (from my days as a bronze beauty). Bare Minerals does not cover very well at all. This offers very good coverage as well as looks natural. I use it dry with a primer and I love it! If you need a concealer...just use a wet concealer brush or a damp cotton swab and and it works really well. I bought this after reading all the good reviews and I am not disappointed."

Love this
Date:January 24, 2012
Pros: weightless, perfect skin match, good coverage
Cons: not as long-lasting as it should be
"I had been looking for a foundation that wouldn't look like I had foundation on. I do not like that powdery, caked on look (who does?), and finding smooth coverage was a must. I wanted something matte - if I want shimmer, I can add it myself.
Overall, I'm very impressed with this foundation. I've been wearing it for two weeks and can safely say I have not broken out from it. I have sensitive skin, so it's always a risk when trying new facial products. I cannot feel it on my face unless I physically touch my face. It's very weightless, which is a definite plus.
At first I tried wearing this "wet" - ie. dampening a beauty sponge and applying it that way. However, my face had the powder-y effect I didn't care for. Since I have dry skin, I didn't think of using it as a powder... I was afraid it would look even worse. I was mistaken, though. Using this as a powder saved me from a return. I love the coverage I get when using this dry. It blends very nicely into the skin and gives me a flawless finish.
Laurel Nude was a perfect shade for me. I am fair (not ghostly, however) with deep pink undertones. I found this was not too yellow for me. The only con is that I wish it were slightly more long-lasting. Even with a primer it does not last through an entire workday without a bit of touchups."

Great!
Date:December 7, 2011
Pros: looks wonderful
Cons: little pricey
"i bought this a few months ago on clearance in the shade tawny, its a little dark for me but i bought it because it was about to be summer time and hate those powder "bronzers" that are actually orange with sparkles in them. This is a wonderful foundation/powder i even put moisturizer on the sponge so it leaves more of a dewy look. Even though its a little bit dark it looks very natural which i love. This stuff is great! going to buy a lighter shade for winter a soon as i make my next trip."

Best Powder I have used
Date:November 10, 2011
Pros: minimizes pores, doesn't cake
"The only time I found a better powder, was when I used a friends to cover up a scab I had and made it look almost invisible, but since the label on hers is worn off and she doesn't remember what it is, I bought Palladio.
This does accentuate wrinkles, however, it accentuates them much less than supposed "wrinkle minimizing" powders I've used. It doesn't accentuate fine lines really, but deeper lines, and if you have eye bags that are a bit lose and saggy it will accentuate those lines. This is the least wrinkle accentuating powder I have ever used. I never really used powders for this reason, except on T-Zones.
I do use this powder everywhere and it's awesome. It doesn't sit on those tiny hairs on the face like other powders do. But a huge bonus is that it minimizes pores! Even dry, it does have the capability of providing medium coverage, since it layers well. I use it on top of my Rimmel Colorstay foundation (medium coverage), and all together I have heavy coverage with a very minimal look!
Tip: For areas with wrinkles, I'll usually dab on water or a tiny amount of moisturizer with a q-tip on my wrinkles to "minimize" the look of them. It's seems to plump up or allow the make-up to settle naturally among them.
I wouldn't use this as the wet foundation on a daily basis. But I would for travelling (since the no-liquids rule! And to carry less). It does provide good coverage, it's just that my foundation stays better and provides better coverage.
BTW: I don't think this coverage will be smooth enough for people over 50, and some people over 40."

Awesome Product!
Date:September 8, 2011
Pros: great coverage and doesn't cake and melt!
"I am 42 years old and always looking for that perfect foundation for coverage...I found it! I ordered this product this last spring and love it! I live in an area with heat and very high humidity in the summer and this foundation never gets cakes or melts, it covers flaws, and looks natural. It also saves time because I don't have to use a powder to set. Just wet the sponge a bit and apply, it dries instantly. I would recommend this to any of my friends and family in an instant."

Wonderful Product
Date:September 1, 2011
Pros: great for all skin types.
Cons: needs to have a more color choices for ethnic skin
"I am a liscenced Esthetician and have been using this powder for over 10 years. It has never made me breakout and works as good as any expensive mineral lines. I have always recomended this products to friends and have gotten a lot of "thank yous" in return. Most all of them have used it eversince. You can't beat the price either especially when you use your card or catch a sale on it. You pay less for something that works better than Wal-Mart or the drug stores have to offer. I would be very sad if this item is ever dicontinued."

Pros: good coverage, great for oily skin
"This is a great foundation for oily skin. I read the reviews and figured i would give it a shot....and i'm very happy. I have fair skin and got it in cypress beige. It's a little dark for me, but it blends well with my tanned skin. I will probably get the lighter color for the winter."

Convenient
Date:June 19, 2011
Pros: covers well, not messy, doesn't break you out
Cons: color selections are limited, compact doesn't last long
"My daughter and I both like this foundation. We both have oily skin and need to cover acne and red scars. It doesn't make either of us break out, which is rare. It's easy to use and doesn't even accentuate the fine lines under my eyes (another rarity). Great foundation. The color selection is somewhat limited and it doesn't last long if you use it every day."

wonderful

"I found this product to be very worthwhile. I love that it has great coverage and is inexpensive compared to what I had previously been using. The only issue I have with it is that I don't really feel that it controls shine all that well, although I'm learning that nothing really can it seems."

Must Have
Date:April 18, 2011
"I rarely leave reviews on products whether Ive had a good experience or bad. But I stumbled upon this item and bought it due to the good reviews so I felt I needed to leave one. I have struggled with adult acne and have tried countless foundations & powders through the years spending as much as $100 just on a foundation. I wish I would have found this product sooner. I love that you can choose to do a light or heavier coverage. It covers my blemishes and doesnt look cakey. I love this and love that it is cheap enough for me to keep one at home and one in my purse for touchups! The only reason I didnt give a 5 star on value for price is because I havent used it all up yet to see how long it will last me."

Pros: perfect
Cons: none
"After reading the numerous great reviews of this product I had to try it. I always have trouble matching my skin color because I have a redness to my skin that doesn't tend to match my neck. This product is easy to use, doesn't appear caked, lasting and provides great coverage. I have large pores on my cheeks and acne scars on my cheeks also, this product does the job better than any other product I have ever used. The first day I wore it my mom said to me, "what makeup do you have on and where can I get it""

excellent!
Date:April 1, 2011
"I tried this product out of desperation. Its a fraction of what i was paying for a compact from mac which ive been deticated to for years. I noticed my skin wasnt looking so great with mac studio fix foundation and thought what could i lose? Its amazing how great my skin looks with the dual wet and dry! Im very picky about my makeup and stand by this product 100% i think this was a win win situation! A better cleaner look and paying half the price for a compact! I havent tried the liquid/primer yet but will be picking some up on my next trip to sallys."

My best beauty secret
Date:March 24, 2011
Pros: better than bare minerals!, does not clog pores like many makeups do, price!, professional quality coverage
"I am an employee for Sally Beauty and also a Makeup Artist, and am always hoping to stumble upon a product I can really recommend to customers looking to try something new.
I have to say, this is a personal makeup must-have right along with my DiorShow mascara!
Before Palladio (in Laurel Nude), I only wore Bare Minerals matte foundation, which costs about $30 for a tiny amount of powder. Thanks to the recommendation of a customer, I purchased Palladio for less than 1/3 of what Bare Minerals usually cost me (employee discount brings this item down to about $7.50) and would never go back to Bare Minerals.
I find this foundation actually helps prevent oily skin better than any department store brand I've ever tried. It has the perfect amount of coverage and people have told me my skin looks so nice, they thought it was airbrushed.
I recommend using a foundation brush with this foundation. There is a small sponge provided, but I personally prefer using brushes with any sort of foundation."

Love it!
Date:March 10, 2011
Pros: stays all day w/out breaking down
"I have used just about every foundation I could get my hands on, from drug store to high end department store brands, I even once worked for Christian Dior and liked nothing they had to offer in the realm of foundations. I have maturing, oily skin with some minor acne scars and I have a lot of trouble finding the ideal foundation. I LOVE this foundation! I use it dry, you can apply as little or as much depending on need. I get so many compliments on my skin, if only they knew it was the foundation!"

"I am always trying new foundations and looking for the ultimate coverage. I always come back to Palladio Dual Wet & Dry. I have pretty set in acne scars and I am pleased with the way this foundation covers. It is definitely worth the $10.00. This is overall a best buy and would recommend this foundation to anyone with acne scars!"

Best Foundation Ever!!!!!
Date:January 7, 2011
Pros: light, covers well
Cons: not too great when used wet
"I love this foundation I've always used brand name make ups from the store but they never covered well. This has great coverage and the price matches! I use it dry because I honestly don't think using it wet covers at all. I feel like i'm just wiping it back off so I suggest using it dry! It's not heavy, greasy or cakey! Looks great!"

very good coverage for a powder
Date:December 16, 2010
Pros: inexpensive, nice packaging, great coverage, lightweight feel
Cons: not available in my store have to order online :
"I haven't tried it on my face as a wet foundation yet. I actually bought this to hopefully move away from liquid foundations.
I have very acne prone skin that I have recently got under control, but still suffers from dryness and flakes. I also still have many many red marks I need to cover. This did a very good job Of naturally coving the red marks. As a powder it is still somewhat sheer but so much better than neutrogena, almay and avon powders i've tried. I used no concealer.
I used alot of moisturizer, followed by the foundation base from claudia stevens, which I think is what helped keep my skin from flaking and looking smooth. I also used a flat-top powder brush which I think picks up more powder and is better for heavier coverage as opposed to a kabuki brush.
I Also went to a very hot sticky club and the makeup held up very well as opposed to my liquid foundation, where I always looked sweaty and greasy.
Really happy I found this stuff."
