Nice! Date: January 27, 2010
"I was using a much more expensive makeup and thought I would try this one given the price and the great reviews. I LOVE IT! Very quick to apply evenly, awesome coverage and looks great all day. It is smooth and gives a flawless look. I went back into Sally wearing it and the lady who remembered my purchase said it looked great, too. I didn't have problems with it not lasting all day like other reviewers, but I don't touch my face all day. Great job Palladio!"

Great Coverage No Cake Date: January 21, 2010
Pros: perfect coverage, not cakey
Cons: not vegan

"I recently spent hundreds on Arbonne skin care and make up. A week or two later I hated it. The make up was cakey, painted looking, and turned more and more orange every day. I'd already tried everything in the discount stores, and wasn't willing to drop another financial bomb on a possible disappointment at a department store. I tried Arbonne because I'm really trying to go vegan with my product choices, and it's hard to do! Anyway, I logged on to Sally and looked for something with good reviews. The Palladio Dual Wet & Dry Foundation had excellent reviews so I tried it. I wish I hadn't because I love it but it's not vegan! I don't know that I'll ever find something that works and feels like this stuff but doesn't have the animal byproducts. This particular product contains squalane. There may be one other byproduct depending on the source Palladio uses, but their website doesn't specify. Anyway, if you don't mind the byproducts, then I highly recommend this foundation. It's awesome."

As good as Department Store brands Date: December 29, 2009
Pros: smooth & silky, great price
Cons: sponge is garbage, doesn't last

"I am a skeptic when it comes to any products labeled as "mineral", so my expectations weren't especially high. Typically mineral products don't provide good coverage and don't stay for very long.

I have used a variety of natural based product lines, simply because I prefer putting things that are as natural as possible on my skin. With that said, my all-time favorite powder is "silk screen" by Origins; however there aren't many stores in my area and I needed to find an alternative.

I have tried it wet, but prefer to use my own dab or two of concealer and then use this as a powder type foundation. It works very well this way. I don't find that wetting it really gives me anything very different anyway.

The texture is milled very fine and goes on silky smooth. It also provides sheer to moderate coverage depending on how much you put on and how you apply it. If you use the sponge that it comes with, it gives more coverage; however the sponge crumbles after just a little bit of use. You also have the option of using a brush, which provides more sheer coverage, but note that the powder itself will break up easily, so use a light touch!

The cons are that the sponge needs SERIOUS changes and the powder doesn't really last all day, but otherwise it is pretty good stuff at a MUCH lesser price than a department store powder!

"After years of searching for a foundation (liquid and powder) this is by far the best for me! Evens out skin tones and doesn't look like you are wearing anything. I joined the Sally Beauty Club just because of this product. Sally has the best price for this item that would go for $15 or more on the internet. You won't be disappointed."

Best foundation/powder ever! Date: September 21, 2009
Pros: compact, concealer & foundation, nice price, great colors for yellow skin tones
Cons: rubs off kinda easy

"Like others here I bought this foundation only after reading reviews for how well it worked and omg this is the best foundation/powder I have ever used. I've used clinique, bare minerals, mabelline, covergirl, prescriptives, estee lauder & several others. I'm asian so it's harder to find products that have yellow undertones & doesn't break out my skin really bad since I'm in a humid climate as well but this stuff is the end all of foundations for me!! It stays the same color in sunlight, indoor light & the dreaded flourescent lights of walmart. I have never had a makeup do that on my skin which is wonderful!!! I wish I had found this stuff years ago & it feels so light & airy & you dont get that caked on powder look like with most compact powders. It does rub off on clothes kind of easy so be careful with that but other than that its wonderful. I set it w/the loose rice powder from palladio as well & love the smell. Wet the powder for a concealer then go all over w/the dry powder-its concealer & powder all in one."

Good coverage, light-weight feeling foundation Date: September 19, 2008
Pros: light-weight, good coverage, won't make you break out!
Cons: still need a little powder on top to cover shine.

"I really like my dual wet & dry foundation. I bought this after reading the reviews left by other Sally customers on the web site. My past experience has always been that whenever I put on foundation for work or for a night on the town, I would always break out horribly by the end of the night. My skin is super dry, and even though I apply a moisturizer, my skin still reacts badly to a majority of foundations out there. However, with this foundation, I rarely have that problem. I might get one or two little pimples by the end of the day, but nothing like before. Also, I LOVE the way this stuff feels against my skin! It feels really light, yet it provides the same coverage that my old, heavier foundations did. I also love that I can switch back and forth between light coverage with the dry foundation and heavier coverage with the wet foundation. And, I can sleep with this on if I've had a really tiring day and don't feel like washing my face. I won't wake up with a major breakout. I really like this foundation! Thumbs up to all who are thinking about trying this product out!"

best powder I've found yet Date: August 18, 2008
Pros: hides imperfections really well, keeps the face from being shiny, keeps the skin clear
Cons: doesn't stay all day

"This stuff is amazing, it keeps my skin clear and goes on pretty sheerly. I do have to say that it tends not to stay on all day, but that could be because I touch my face a lot and don't take it to work with me to put it back on. I used to just use as a foundation, too, but felt I needed a little more."

Fabulous Foundation Date: July 10, 2008
Pros: smooth application, looks natural, awesome case
Cons: water repellent?

"This is, indeed, a high quality powder foundation. I can apply it smoothly and easily, and the dual layer case is pretty darn cool. However, when I try to use it wet, it acts like the back of a duck--the water slides around and doesn't like mixing. That's not much of a loss, other than the fact that I can't use the concealer properties other reviewers have mentioned. Bottom line: good stuff."

I WANT to rate it 5stars, my computer won't tho! Date: June 2, 2008
Pros: covers my scars but looks very light not heavy., doesn't turn orange, easy and fast to put on even at stoplights, does not break me out!, seems to last for hours and hours., feels nice on your skin
Cons: can't think of a con....

"I love this stuff, 'Palladio wet-dry foundation'. I use it like powder. I have terrible skin, it does cover my scars!, but still looks light, not heavy look at all. Most stuff that covers my scars look way heavy, but not this stuff.
Feels good, does NOT turn orange. Does not break me out (almost everything does). I can 'tan' with it on, too. Easy and fast to put on, just like a powder. Easy to touch up, like at stoplights even, not like liquid foundations.
I won't use anything else. If they ever stop making this, i don't know what i'd do.
i can't get my computer to click onto the stars to rate it 5 star, but i would if i could.

The Absolute Best! Date: May 11, 2008
Pros: covers all day, feels like powder wet or dry, natural looking, actually improves your skin health
Cons: none!

"This is the best foundation out there. Covers naturally, yet lasts all day long and feel like powder whether you apply it dry or wet. You do not need to buy a seperate concealer stick if you use this foundation, wet it is a concealer. Will never use anything else ever again. Forget about those expensive mineral foundations, they don't even come close to this."
