"I love love love this flat iron. i have used lots of irons and my hair always got kinks in the back and when it was humid outside my hair would curl and frizz up. i got this iron in september and now its december and it still works amazing because some of my old irons stopped working well after a few months. this works just as great as the chi and i have had the ion chi blue straightner and i like this one better because it has a higher setting for my puffy wavy hair and this keeps it a million times straighter!"

I USED MY NEW FLAT IRONS FOR THE FIRST TIME AND I THINK THEY'RE FANTABULOUS!!! MY HAIR TURNED OUT GORGEOUS! IT WAS SILKY, SHINY, SOFT, BOUNCY AND HEALTHY! "My Tool Science flat irons were totally worth every penny I spent on them! They heat up in a flash and straighten on the first run through of the hair. I am an african-american with relaxed hair and it has been difficult to find a flat iron that gets the job done without going over the same section of hair 3 or 4 times. Guess what else? I don't have to crank the heat up to the max (430) and tha's a plus as well! I use this product for myself and all six of my daughters! Wonderful product."

"This straightener is great! It is really comfortable to hold, it's soft and smooth but your hand wont slip around. It has a dial that you can very easily turn from a low setting to 400 degrees! It might be bad for m hair but I just turn it to 400 degrees and it heats up soooooo fast! seriously like in 10 seconds! I love it! When you turn it on the light behind the temperature dial turns blue and blinks until it reaches the temperature you set it to and then it just stays blue. I love it so much! I have REALLY this hair and it works soooo well, it never feels like it's damaging my hair at all! Ita also has a long cord and it's sleek, it's also a beautiful color! Love it! :) Trust me, you'll buy this and you will not regret it! Trust me! :) Enjoy!"

Pros: works great on all hair types, much cheaper than chi and performs just as well. Cons: no lock to lock the iron after use.
"I bought this iron over the weekend to replace a "cheapie" I have that was worn out. I decided to pay a little more and get a better iron. I haven't been disappointed yet. It does a wonderful job on my hair and my daughter has kinky, curly hair and she loves it, too. The only drawback that I have to this is the lack of a lock to lock the iron together when not in use. It seems like it may be easy to break the plates if it's accidently knocked off."
