"I really wanted to like this product because of all the great reviews. I was looking for a good heat protection product for the days I would flat iron or blow dry. I washed my hair applied the polish and blow dried. To my disappointment it made my hair feel like straw and did not have any shine to it. I really love the smell of it. Kind of smells like strawberry candy."

"I use this all the time when i use heat in my hair, i start with a hear protection spray, then apply this to my hair.It makes it so shiny and smooth! :D i love it, you should buy it oh, and makes your split ends less noticable! The thing i hate it makes your hands oily D:"

Excellent for THICK hair!

"I bought this after seeing all of the lovely reviews, of course. Let me tell you guys, I have THICK, unruly 4a/b hair, so I am used to those gross pressing oils that come in jars. For those that have my same hair type, this stuff works perfectly! You'll be surprised like I was... it's definitely better for your hair and less drying than the biosilk or chi brands. I use this with my plug-in pressing comb (not a flat iron), and my hair comes out so soft and silky!!
The only downside is that it leaves a lot of residue on your pressing comb - only a minor issue though, as you can easily wipe it off.

"I have this one and also the other Glossing Polish from Proclaim. I love them both. But the red one smells really good, the other one doesn't have much of a scent. They are both great. Both of them help my hair be shiny and soft. I put it on before I blow dry my hair. My hair is shoulder lengthed and highlighted and I use a quarter size amount when I put it on my hair."

"This is just what everyone claims it is. It leaves your hair feeling silky and smooth to the touch. It almost seems like it'll never run out cuz only a little is needed, no matter what hair type you have. It also smells really nice."

"I was looking for a replacement to a discontinued L'oreal heat protection lotion and was not finding much I liked until I saw this on the counter next to a register. I LOVE it. My thick wavy hair, usually frizzie after blow drying, was smoother than it's ever been without flat-ironing it and much softer feeling. Considering you only use 2-5 drops per application this will last a very long time, so definately a great value!"

"This stuff is the BOMB!!! I used to use Paul Mitchell's Super Skinny Serum, which was about $25 for the same amount as the Proclaim, and the Proclaim works 10 times better!!! I flat iron my hair everyday and this stuff REALLY DOES protect my hair against heat damage and breakage. A little bit goes a long way and it smells great. Please don't ever discontinue this product!!!"

"i don't know what took me so long to write a review for this product. i've been using this for 3 years and actually haven't had to purchase a second bottle yet. i only use a small amount before blow drying and a little more before pressing and my stubborn curly hair is smooth and soft and light and PERFECT. please purchase!"

"I was all set to buy another heat protector when the saleslady at Sally's recommended that I try this one. It was on sale so I figured why not. I love this product. Not only does it make my hair look healthier and adds shine, but it feels so much softer too. It doesn't weigh my hair down either. I don't use it anywhere near my scalp since I have oily hair, but the ends are always dry looking from all the heat damage. I only need a couple drops to do the job. You do have to wash hour hands after, but it's not a big enough con to take away from the 5 stars. Truly a great product!"

"This gloss is simply amazing: it's cheaper than alot of similar products, leave your hair looking, feeling and smelling great while protects from the heat of dryers, curlers or irons. "I was going to get something else to protect my hair that I straighten or curl everyday. The girl at the counter suggested I buy this and I am glad I did. It works amazing, protects from heat (hair doesn't look as fried), adds silkiness, shine, no fly aways and lasts all day! It smells good too! My only gripe is that you have to really wash your hands good after use because it doesn't just wipe off."

"This is one of my favorite products. This heat protection polish is a real gem! I first tried it on sale and was pleasantly surprised. This effective little gem does the trick every time. My hair is soft, silky, manageable, and most importantly frizz free! This product holds it's own against Louisiana's humidity and that's no small task!"

"This is the BEST hair treatment i've found on the market. I've been coloring my hair for a whie now and it has a lot of damage, but when I do not use this product I can NOT brush my hair without wanting to scream, WITH using this product I can brush my hair as if my hair was pure water. I love it when my hair dries and I can still run my fingers through my hair without ripping out my hair! I LOVE THIS PRODUCT and it lasts a long time!!!!!"

"Great product. Made hair silky and smooth- worked especially well on humid/ rainy days. Even got a compliment the first time I used it- a colleague asked why my hair looked so good that day when hers was frizzy (it was rainy and humid that day). Didn't make my hair feel heavy or oily."
