"I have used this product for almost a YEAR and I have to admit that I will NEVER EVER use another brand to dye my hair red. I used the Magenta HiLights as an ALL OVER color and my hair is down to my hips (AND VERY VERY DARK BROWN, I'm middle Eastern with curly hair)! It took about 4 boxes each time, but the developer is only $5 for an entire 16oz and I am able to do my hair professionally better than my aunt would do (She has a 2 reputable salons in North Carolina and New York). This product is extremely CREAMY and does not dry your hair out as much as you think it would. THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT AND I AM A LOYAL AND DEVOTED FAN NOW."

"This worked great! I'm only one day 1 so I don't know how long this will keep, but I felt the need to write about it. It looks so wonderful on my hair. Mostly I used it to touch up the existing red I already had & to cover up about an inch of dark brown roots and I was surprised how evenly it covered everything. The color is beautiful & vibrant! I hope this lasts for a month or two!"

"This is the best product for dark hair I have ever used. I have been in this business for 40 years and have never found a red that I didn't have to pre-bleach in order for the true color to show. My hair is very dark brown with grey streaks. The dark hair comes up wonderful Magenta and the grey becomes like highlights which really sets it off. I get alot of compliments from young and old. I love this product and have been using it for about 3 years. My hair is in great condition and I will continue to use it."

"I have used this product on a couple of my clients that have dark brown to almost black hair/if you are a pro you know that not all reds show up on black. These colors for dark hair are wonderful the one downfall is that it says to use 30 vol devolper i have found that 40 vol lifts alot better on darker hair with very minimal damage."
