NO MORE PRESSING COMB!
Date: August 3, 2009
"I purchased this dryer after an associate at sallys recommended it, plus my grandmother and cousins had the same dryer. I have natural, thick hair! I used this dryer after I shampooed my hair and sprayed Silk Elements heat protector spray AND I DIDNT EVEN HAVE TO PRESS MY HAIR as I normally do! All I had to do was flat iron and I was done! I recommend This dryer to ANYONE, it has different settings. This review is coming from a licensed cosmetologist"

bad button
Date: April 8, 2009
Pros: dries hair quickly Cons: broke after 4 months use
"I purchased this dryer a couple of months ago. I really liked it. It dries my very thick hair quite quickly. Yesterday, when I turned the power button on, the button broke and the dryer jammed in the ON position and then the dryer started to smell funny. I really expected this dryer to last longer than a couple of months. I would think that a dryer that is labelled "professional" would be able to handle drying just one or two heads if hair a couple times a week. Who knows, maybe I got a lemon."

Love, Love, Love It
Date: March 3, 2009
"This dryer is awesome!! Fast and effective. I especially love the straightening pic, it really does get you hair straight! And that is good for me because I have very thick and coarse hair and the pic helps to straighten my hair before I flat iron it so that I won't spend forever flat ironing my hair."

Great Hair Dryer
Date: January 7, 2009
"I had this dryer for 5 years, It finally died last year and I have not been able to find another until now! I bought a $200 salon dryer. I took it back, just did not perform as well as my yellow bird. I am so happy to have found it again. I have very thick hair, takes over an hour to dry. This dryer is a life saver! Cuts my time in half. It is probably too much for thin hair, too much power."

Date: January 7, 2009
"I bought this hair dryer for the family. We have went through 5 hair dryers in the past year. I have even pd as much as 100.00 for one. I am so happy I bought this hair dryer. This dryer is so sturdy and dries hair in a snap. You can't beat the price. My whole family loves the con pro yellow bird hair dryer. We also love the color yellow."

The best Hair Dryer I've ever used
Date: December 25, 2008
Pros: long life Cons: none
"Honestly, this is the best hairdryer I've ever used. And I've used plenty! I usually go through a hairdryer a year. I've had this one 3 years so far. And I'm going to buy another one this week just to put it away "Just in Case"!!!!
It gets hotter than anyother than I've ever used. And I need that for my bangs.
I would recommend this product to anyone!"

Best Dryer I've Used
Date: September 26, 2008
Pros: fun colors, gets very hot, many temperature choices, durable, good accessories included
"I absolutely love this dryer! I went to Sally's a few years ago, hoping that I could get a better dryer for my money, but since most of the lower cost dryers looked the same to me, I mostly bought this dryer because of the way it looks. It's not that I loved yellow or something, I was attracted to it because I used to have a miniature toy version of this dryer, with the yellow plastic and blue and red levers, and I never realized that this blow dryer existed in real life! (It was a surreal experience indeed...)
Well, I got the dryer home and realized that I had lucked out...this dryer really works great. As the previous reviewers have mentioned, it gets VERY hot on the hot setting (which I need to get my hair to stay straight), but the in between and cool settings are very useful for styling, too. I also like having the concentrator nozzle to direct the air.
Overall, this is a great blow dryer for the price. I have owned it for about three years and have had no problems with it."

great basic hairdryer
Date: July 9, 2008
Pros: gets very hot, has multiple settings, comes with attachments Cons: a very loud color
"I purchased this hairdryer a couple of weeks ago after reading the review on Sallybeauty.com and love it. It blows hard, gets really hot, and dries my very long, thick hair much quicker than any other that I've used. Which is what I'm looking for in a dryer since I'm a mother of 4 and very busy. After using this one, I have no desire to pay more for the other dryers on the market. It came with a straightening pic and concentrator to boot. If you're looking for a good basic dryer, this is definitely one I think you'll like."

Yellowbird Dryer is The Best!!!
Date: May 17, 2008
Cons: hard to find
"I bought this blowdryer about 5 years ago. Fast forward 5 years, it started to die. Well, I couldn't find it any salon or store near where I live. I searched online to find one (that's how good it is) and went ahead and bought a new one. I have had it for 2 weeks now and would pay a lot more for it than what I paid online at Sally's for it. It blow dries your hair so fast and leaves it shiny and beautiful. I am picky and have thick, wavy hair and I blow dry it straight every other night and do it in about 15 minutes. This dryer gets really hot. If you buy one you will not regret the purchase. If I could I would give you the money you paid if you were not satisfied. You will never want to own another blow dryer again. I am sure there may be other dryers out there costing three times as much that are just a good but for the money this one is all you will ever need or want."
