MUST HAVE for hair coloring!

Pros: great scent excellent saturation reduces odor
"This stuff is awesome. It's a light citrus scent, really helps color saturation and reduces or even eliminates that "Hair Dye" smell. My hair is color resistant, I've used Ion Demi with AND without this and I will never be without it again! If you color regularly keep this in your kit!"

Pros: does what it says, smells great
Cons: longer thicker hair may need two bottles
"I used this after I stripped the color out of my hair, and then applied this, and then Ion Demi Color. Amazing, even color. This spray smells wonderful, and does it's job superbly. Though, if you have very long, thick hair, you may need two bottles...my hair is very thick, and sits atop my shoulders, and I have a little less than 1/2 the bottle left."

Don't Color Without This!

"I've colored my own hair before and been unhappy with the terraced-shade results, where my roots end up one color, the shaft another, and the ends a third. Turns out, hair has different levels of porosity depending on how much it's been processed. I've had my ends turn out dark from using an ash blonde, for example, because the ends were fried from too much highlighting. Anyway, I have light brown hair naturally, and it's been salon highlighted a ton of times. I decided I needed to save money and do my roots myself, and I found this product and bought it based on the reviews. Voila! Consistent color root to tip! It's amazing. I just sprayed it on dry hair just before coloring it. I used just enough to dampen it all over. I agree that it made my hair a little easier to work with as I colored it, too. I'm convinced this product is the reason my results were consistent."

"I have roots and the normal grow out of the color I had dyed my hair. Normally, my roots come out so much lighter than the rest of my head! Not with this.
I used the Ion Color Corrector to first get my old hair color out, then followed up with this before applying the new color. I have even results and love it!"

Pros: works no more orange tones same all over color, good price long use
"I read reviews on this product. Being a blonde and dyeing my hair on my own, I always used the same color on myself, but the color of my roots would end up an orange tone. Before coloring my hair, I sprayed it on, brushed, and put on dye. I could see that the roots were not going the yellow-orange tone like they would. After drying my dyed hair, I loved it! My roots matched for ones of the color w no tints! I really recommend this product."

"I found this product by accident and I am glad I did. When I color I usually end up with my roots the shade I want and my ends about 4 shades darker and by the time the color all comes together, the grey's are popping out again. I wasn't sure how much to use so I just lightly dampened my hair with it, it smelled great, the color actually was easier to apply to my hair and it seemed to go a whole lot quicker, I was amazed. I will never color without this product again and I am recommending it to all my friends."

"I have a horrible time getting color to take to my hair..I've been frustrated because each time i apply perminant color, it fades away in three weeks! I tried this product in a last ditch effort to stop having to color so often, and i couldn't believe how well it works!! My color was even better than the expected results, and it's been 3 weeks since my color service and my hair still looks as good as when i first colored it. I will take that extra step from now on!"

"I have very damaged hair from bleaching and trying to redye. I was left with hair that looked gray and the ends were damaged. I really didn't want to stay with my hair looking that way so I decided to try this and then re color one more time. Great love it, smells good my hair came out much more even. Thanks Ion."

"This product smells great. It made my hair super soft and protected prior to coloring. The color took very evenly and richly and my hair was in great condition after processing. I will continue to use this each time I color."
