Awesome Spikes

Pros: great long lasting hold, no flakes, smells great
Cons: only 4oz.
"I bought this product for my two sons who love the"Jersey" spiked up do's. We have used many other products only to be disapointed that their hold didn't last long. But they love this product and have used only this since. I do wish it came in a larger tube, but I would definantly recommend it. You won't be disapointed."

Prefer to hair gel

Pros: doesnt dry hair., holds instantly
Cons: could be cheaper, holds style instantly
"I have naturally curly African-American hair. My edges have a hard time smoothing down. The only thing that remotely worked to smooth my edges was Eco Styler ( maximum hold) Gel. However, it still made my hair dry even though it claimed to be non-alcoholic and it never totally smotthed my edges, my hair reverted to a curly state before the gel dries.
MOVING ON... the hair cement worked better than gel for smoothing and because it dries within seconds , it holds my edges before they can revert back to a curl. While my hair still waves up ( natural effect when using water-based products) it is still a smoothed down wave. The hold lasted four hours, but it also depends on how much u use. The more u use the greater the hold. But u dont have to use a lot.
I love it!!! It is more expensive than eco styler but hey its worth it compared to products over 10 dollars."

A Little Goes a Long Way

Pros: versatile, good value, does what it claims
Cons: easy to go overboard
"I've used lots of gel and spray products in my short hair, but this is my favorite. I'm still using it as my hair gets longer. When I use too much (like any other gel), my hair gets too heavy and goes flat at the crown. I like this because I can use it wet or dry and it adds volume as well as hold to my hair. At the price, it's worth a try.
Also, when my hair was growing back from chemo (and VERY short), this product helped me give my hair some style."

Pros: gravity defying, soft look
Cons: none!
"I got this to put up my mohawk and it works great! Since I'm a girl I don't want that hard shiny gel look I wanted a nice soft gravity defying look and this totally delivers. Add a little freezing hair spray just in case it's windy and I've had it hold up for 3 days"

Pros: holds up through everything! and its the best!
"this is the BSEST product i have ever used on my son. I have been using it for over 4 years now and it is the BEST. He loves his spikes and it the best out there on the market. We tried everything out there and this one by far holds up to its name and does what it says it will do. I put it on my son in the morning for school and when i go back to pick him up from school his hair still looks perfect! and no flakes!!!! either ..yes!!! and he can even wear his helmet when he is gonna ride his bike and when he takes it off the spikes are still there, sticking up. And another thing thats great about this product is, I can put it in his hair one day and the next morning he washes up and just runs water threw his hair and thats it! they are spiked again and stiff and we didn't even have to use more product that morning just good ol water . This product is the BEST! go out and get it today!!!!"

Pros: i can shape "betty boop" waves., washes out with regular shampoo
Cons: easy to "over use" product - takes very little, slight build up after several uses
"This is the ONLY styling product that I use or need. I have very short hair - spikes all over with longer pieces around my face that I can shape into "Betty Boop" waves. "Spike It" lasts until you shampoo, but it washes out with regular shampoo. I recommended this product to my stylist and she now uses it on all of her clients! Thanks for a great product - couldn't do without it!"
