"This flat iron is really amazing.It leaves my hair looking really smooth and shiny.My hair doesnt look dry or burned, it looks amazing after I use this product. It's price is unbeleiveable.You should try this.Hopefully is does fight the humidity,becasue I live in Houston Texas, where it is ALWAYS raining!I have thin wavy hair.So i would recommend this to anyone.Its really just as good as the chi, if not BETTER than the chi."

"So after I read all of these reviews, I decided to purchase one of these pretty lookin things a couple of months ago. I LOVE IT! It gets the job done quickly and it's smoth. Yeah, it only has two heat settings but they're fine for me and I have curly hair. I have short/medium hair and i ALWAYS use it to curly my hair, I haven't used a curling iron since I've purchased this straightener. I think that it works great and it's definately priced nicely compared to CHI and others. Also, it makes my hair really smooth. I would definately recommend this straightener!"

Pros: good price, very long cord, gets really hot Cons: diamonds stick out, nothing to hold at the end, gets very very hot on the outside
"I loved this straightener the second I saw it. It's my favorite color and it has all kinds of bling :] also I figured the 1" plates would make it easy to curl my hair with it... there are a few things I don't like about this straightner, one is that the diamonds hurt my thumb while I'm straightening. it gets very hot on the outside and it doesn't have the tabs at the end to hold like my old one. thats a big deal if you're trying to use it to curl. especially for this straightner because its very easy to spring back open while you're using it. this is a good straightner if you're using it for straightening, but if you're looking for one to curl with, this isnt a good one.
either way i still love this straightner and i still would've bought it anyway. :]"

"K so i just bought this one not to long ago, better than most of my straighteners. You can straighten ur hair damp with this and it willdry and it wont ruin, but it doesnt really protect hair against humidity, i have pretty thick not too thick hair wavy curly east to straighten but my problem before was everytime i straightend my hair and i have to walk to school btw, and i live in FLORIDA THE MOST HUMID PLACE IN THE WORLD! And my hair would curl up and it looked ugly but my hair would stay straight if i was inside! BUT WITH THIS STRAIGHTENERE ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS SHOWER, STRAIGHTEN, AND IF UR OUT SIDE PUT IT IN A LOOSE PONYTAIL OR BUN AND WHEN YOU GO INSIDE TAKE IT DOWN AND IT WILL STAY STRAIGHT! I hope I've helped you!"

"i got mine on sale since i have a Sally card, even without the sale price it is a good value for your money. works better than more expensive brands like Chi. i used a Chi before and this one is much better! tames frizz, and leaves my naturally wavy hair silky smooth and straight. plus its pretty!"

"My hair has just enough natural curl to make it frizzy in most weather and I had a stylist when I was in high school tell me that someday my style would come into style. "Natural Yuck"! She actually said that to me! My hair has had a mind of it's own and has done whatever it wanted always.
I just got it cut and my stylist used a razor to make layers. Big mistake! Those layers were nothing but frizz! I always envied people with silky, beautiful hair. Mine always was just frizzy enough to look dull and not lay nicely.
I looked at the other reviews on this site and made up my mind to buy this straightening iron. Boy am I glad that I did. I now have the hair that I used to envy! It is straight, shiny, silky and beautiful! I have color treated hair and the low setting is perfect! I wish I had done this a long, long time ago!! It is so easy to use and the color and "bling" make it that much more fun!"

"My hair is wavy, fine, hard to straighten. I've been through a dozen flat irons, at least. My hair stylist told me about this one, said this is the one she uses. When I get my hair cut and styled, my hair stylist uses a Chi. This flat iron gets the SAME results as a Chi (on my hair at least) for a fraction of the price. The lack of settings doesn't bother me, the highest one works perfectly for me. I love it, and I don't think I could live without it now."

"I thought the flat iron was pretty,it matches my comb and brush set. After using it for a 2days,I realized it only has two settings. The cord is extremely to long. Even though the cord swivels, it still tangles and very hard to keep straight. So it's not for an adult,it's for young unexperienced teenager who just learning,so they don't burn their hair. I would definitely buy that for my daughter or young cousin!"

"This product doesn't heat to the max temperature that many of Sally Beauty's flat irons reach. This one is 430, max is 450 degrees and it only has two heat settings. Many have at least 6 and upwards of 40. It could be a lot better in performance, but it is cute and ceramic."
