Love it!
Date:February 16, 2012
Pros: works
Cons: none at all
"I'm 50ish, with born blonde natural hair that is baby fine and will break and frizz. This product works great for my hair. I was paying over 40.00 dollars for a leave in that did not work as well as this did."

Excellent Conditioner!

Cons: needs a spray bottle
"This is a great leave in treatment that I use daily. I use it in a spray bottle for even distribution throughout my hair."

Needs a better application
Date:June 19, 2011
Pros: works
Cons: very watery
"This is a great leave-in, it makes my hair very smooth and soft. The only thing I would change is that this should come in a spray because the solution is very watery. I bought a spray bottle and it's easier to apply the product. Other than that, it's another great aphogee product."

Causes pimples on scalp
Date:June 6, 2011
Cons: breakouts
"It works nicely, but I was getting pimples on my scalp. I saw another review that said it caused breakouts on their face and scalp, then I realized it was this product. It was also messy using it because at first i didn't think to put this product in a spray bottle, eventough it was runny."

Excellent to mix with
Date:April 29, 2011
"I have natural afro-textured hair, but it's a type that needs a heavy dose of protein on a regular basis. My hair is EASILY overmoisturized, so I don't do a lot of the "conventional" natural hair care methods. I can use this as a quick fix if I feel my hair is too springy, but my favorite use is to mix it with some water, aloe vera gel, and glycerin as a daily spray. It gives my hair the strength it needs to not feel mushy from the glycerin. All in all a great product."

Great for thin, fine hair
Date:December 17, 2010
"I have thin, fine hair. This leave-in conditioner is a perfect companion to ApHogee Shampoo for Damaged Hair which I use. It eliminates the static I usually end up with after using a "flat to volume" conditioner. And it's a better value. It doesn't weigh down my hair like other conditioners & leaves my hair full, manageable & with great body. Applying it without a spray bottle is a little messy, but that's easily remedied by buying a spray bottle."

Best Leave-in condtioner Ever
Date:December 4, 2010
Pros: smell, adds moisture to dry hair
"It adds Lightweight moisture, improves body and shine protects against heat. I use this every 6 weeks in between perms with Aphogee 2-step protein treatment. Mine came in a spray bottle which I sooo much better than pouring it into hand. LOVE IT"

This is a protein based product!
Date:September 27, 2010
"For those who do not know, your hair needs a balance of protein and moisture. You must alternate the use of this leave in conditioner with your use of a good moisturizing leave in. If you want that you will most likely need to use something from a different brand.
Some people's hair loves protein and they can use this fairly frequently, but for most of us, too much protein can really do damage to the hair making it stiff, brittle, and prone to breakage.
I suggest you read up on what your hair needs, don't just use products blindly. Check ingredient labels and research each ingredient to see what it will do for your hair before purchasing/using.
If used correctly, this can be a good product to use in rotation. I personally do not use it often as I have found it leaves my hair too brittle. I need a lot of moisture based products in my hair.
I have natural, Afro-textured hair."

The CULPRIT!
Posted February 15, 2012
For weeks I have been trying to figure out what has been drying my hair out. It took a while b/c I poured this conditioner into another spray bottle but finally I thought to myself to pull up the ingredients online.
I agree that rotating this in would be wonderful but using this 2x a week has severely damaged my newly natural hair. I am very upset and now I feel like my hair needs to go into CPR recovery mode. I can't believe that I completly overlooked this product as the culprit. I was about to acuse my Conditioner, My OIls that I seal with and my moisturizer but all this time. *smh* And to think that this was the first product I would put into my after I rinsed my conditioner out.

What conditioner?
Date:September 20, 2010
Pros: smells great
Cons: dries out hair, watery, very lightweight, need to buy a spray bottle
"I have long, dry, colored caucasian hair that has been loving what ApHogee products do to it, especially in the winter. I am thoroughly dissapointed in this leave-in. It's watery, too light (even for the summer), and just doesnt do the job. I bought a spray bottle and everything, and my ends still feel like straw, (which they didn't before using this leave-in), and even after using this after the awesome ApHogee shampoo. I've paired with the Green Tea moisturizer, and nothing changed. I've paired with Argan oil, and still nothing, and the Argan oil ALWAYS works for me. It's like this conditioner cancels out any moisturizers! The only time my hair is soft is when I skip this product in my routine! Not happy...and what's the only other option offered? The 2-minute reconstructer? ApHogee needs to develop some good conditioners for daily use. The only thing I loved was the smell, slightly coconutty, very light and fresh. Will not buy again, though!"

Odd scent
Date:September 9, 2010
Pros: detangled hair
Cons: smells bad
"I like the idea of a conditioner that you can spray on and leave in, so I gave this a try. It wasn't that good. I think what bothers me most about it, is the way it smells. It has a really peculiar odor. It reminds me of rotting fruit. It did work on the tangles, though."

☺Me likey!
Date:June 17, 2010
Pros: inexpensive, yielded good results
"Aphogee, please don't stop making this leave--in conditioner!! I love this stuff! As soon as I spray it on my hair, I can run my comb/fingers through my wet hair effortlessly, with no pulling or tugging! If you purchase this conditioner, make sure to also purchase a spray bottle because it has a watery consistency and works better in a spray instead of a plain bottle. Good stuff!"

Awesome leave-in!!
Date:May 5, 2010
Pros: detangles, leaves shine, light, smells great
Cons: would be more economical if sold in refill size bt
"I formerly used Keragenics leave-in conditioner, but Sally's stopped selling that & in fact, I'd learned that the company stopped making it. Over the years I've tried to find a product that even came close to Keregenics. THIS IS IT! I love this Aphogee leave-in conditioner. It smells very good, leaves my hair feeling soft and manageable. This is also a good detangler. My hair is below waist length & tangles/knots very easily. I've had to use heavy leave-in conditioners just to get the tangles out, but then my hair felt dirty & greasy again, like I'd not even shampooed at all. Aphogee leave-in is light, not oily at all, but does the job! LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!"

Stops Breakage
Date:February 22, 2010
Pros: stops breakage
Cons: needs a spray bottle
"While transitioning from relaxed to natural hair I was experiencing a fair amount of breakage. I didn't think there was anything I could do to stop it. I decided to put this stuff on my dry hair at night to help set my twists, and by the end of the week the beakage stopped by 90%. I also use this on my wet hair and allow it to air dry. There is no build up and it works great!"

Wonderful Product
Date:October 24, 2009
"This was my first time using this product and I love it. It smells great and leaves your hair looking good and smelling good! I love this better than the other Leave-Ins that I have used in the past, and that are still on my shelf. I will just give those away to my daughter. She loves to take my hair stuff anyway, but she want take my Aphogee cause I'm gonna hide it. :) LOL"
