not happy with the results
Date:March 10, 2013
Cons: left my hair patchy, left my hair with orange tones, difficult to mix/work with
"I recently bought two packets of this product to apply on a small amount of my hair. I do not feel I got my money/times worth with this product. My hair is dark brown and I was going to bleach it to do some cherry red streaks, but I was not happy with the results. This product was difficult to mix and hard to work with. My hair came out patchy in some areas, and with orange tones. My hair is long, and although I added a generous amount of product, it did not come out as light as I wanted it. Also, because of the length and thickness of my hair, I worked in small sections, about an inch. The stylist recommended I use 40 developer, which I did, even after adding a little more than what the directions suggested, the mix was too thick to work with my long dark hair. I will not be using this product again. I've had much better results with Raw White Out Bleach, and will most likely be sticking to that. I'm no professional, but I know my hair should have come out even."

Pros: it works, hair was softer after using
Cons: burns, stinky
"So first let me start off by saying i have virgin hair , never had been dyed touched etc. My hair is black curly and thick bi racial hair, I will admit i was scared to do all this but i thought ok whatever im gonna take the plunge and do it! Boy this stuff WORKS my hair went from black to a yellowy orange in one time. I was shocked it worked that fast. So let me skip ahead i did about 3 treatments and my hair was BLONDE. I have long hair as well so it used the whole thing but boy was i impressed. My hair was actually SOFTER when using i."

Pros: able to do so many at home treatments
Cons: still dusty-don't inhale it
"I have been using this for years. The powder comes in 2 bags plus scoop for easy measuring. I am a level 10 blonde from a natural 7. I use this with my developer. It's the easiest way to do it!"

pretty easy
Date:November 26, 2012
Pros: smell not overpowering, easy to use, even lift and tone
Cons: if not on sale can be pricey, tad drying but so it most bleach
"bought this product back in August ( I know took me a while to post a review ) anyways when I used this for the first time after going to a hair salon to get my lvl 4/5 brown hair bleached/ lightened to a blonde color (after about 1 or 2 months of regrowth ) found that this had a more even tone and lift than paying upwards of $100 or more to get my middle of my back hair colored..I figured if I could do my own regrowth/roots and have it turn out the same or better I'd be ahead of the game, right? well it worked awesome for me and took about 45 minutes with a cap on after completely applied..mixed with Ion sensitive scalp 20 vol. ( a 1 : 1 ratio ) and other than a bit of dryness which to be honest happens with all bleach it worked great.. lifted to a pale yellow/white stage which was what I was going for before I toned it
P.S even my husband didn't complain about the smell which was an added bonus..LOL"

Best Bleach I've Ever Used
Date:October 9, 2012
"After reading reviews on the internet I decided to try this production in the challenge of getting my dyed black hair back to hot pink. I bleached my hair with a 30vol developer and after just one bleaching my hair was a light orange. I expected my hair to turn out very patchy but it turned out very even. I would recommend this product to anyone trying to get a dark colour out of their hair."

Never fails
Date:September 9, 2012
Pros: inexpensive, predicable result, not damaging
Cons: none
"I have very dark natural black hair. This product bleaches my hair to very light yellow/orange in just about 10 minutes every time. I would imagine it will be pale blonde if I leave it on longer. I mixed this with Ion 30 developer and to my surprise, it never stings my scalp. Even when I bleached my hair 2 times 2 days in a row, my scalp still felt fine. My hair actually felt quiet soft to touch and not dry. When I start toning with other products afterwards, then it stings a lot. Thanks to this amazing product or else my hair would have been fried from being over-processed in a short period of time."

My favorite bleach :)
Date:September 4, 2012
Pros: lightens fast, tones as it lightens, works really well, comes with a lot
Cons: kind of expensive
"This is the bestt bleach i have tried!!! I have used clairol professional, salon care, and prism lites...but quick blue is by far the fastest, most efficent bleach i have ever used! Yes, it is a bit expensive for a pound tub of bleach, but you get what you pay for in this case!!!!!
Its blue (hence the name "quick blue") so that it takes out a lot of the orangey tones that bleaching gives sometimes!!! The color blue counteracts the coloe orange, so this bleach sort of "tones" as it ligthtens!!! :)
Overall, this bleach is fantastic and i reccommend it to everyone and anyone!!! :)"

I have dark blonde/reddish hair and it took literally 10-15 minutes for this to turn my hair platinum blonde. Super quick! I used an ion deep conditioner afterwords and my hair looks great

Pretty good!
Date:August 27, 2012
Pros: easy to use, does not have a lot of chemical burn
Cons: didn't lighten enough, chemical smell, have to keep in longer than what the it says
"I just bought the a 1oz packet yesterday and bleached it the same night. I have black asian hair and it was at the moment a dark red from dying it a few months ago. I knew that it was going to be tough to get it to a blonde color. So I bleach my hair into an ombre wanting it to go from black roots to blonde tips. I layered in the bleach every 10-15 minutes, obviously the tips had bleach on the most. I left it for about a hour. Washed it and conditioned as much as I could. So the results was the brightest color was a light orange and fades into a brownish red. I was expecting blonde tips but that is impossible since I could damage my hair for leaving in the bleach for too long. Overall the results were pretty good! I will be keeping this ombre until my hair is healthy enough to go through another bleaching to be more blonde. I will most likely buy this next time too! Also I think the problem could have been that I was using some few months old developer and maybe that's why it didn't work as well."

Awesomeee
Date:June 26, 2012
Pros: lightens quickly, not too expensive, everything really
Cons: hm... nothing
"Totally amazing. It's the only bleach I use. I've been dying my hair "un natural" colors for years, so I have to bleach my roots every month or two. It gets my dark brown hair to white in one bleach. Or a very light yellow if I don't wait as long. The blue in it really makes a difference.
It's like a bleach and toner in one! I don't think i'll be using another bleach anytime soon.
And while it's a bit more expensive than a white bleach, it is soooo worth it. Plus, since I just buy a 16 oz bucket of it, I only have to buy one each year! I can bleach my roots for a year+ with just one bucket. $20 a year for bleach? NOT BAD. ^_^"

Doesn't Work
Date:June 18, 2012
"I wanted to go blonde from dark brown hair. Well here I am, three bleaches later, and it's still only a tannish ginger. I don't normally use this bleach, but because of all the good reviews I saw, I thought I'd try it. I really regret it. Now I have to wait even more time just to use my regular bleach."

Review 12 for L'Oreal Quick Blue Powder Lightener 1 lb.
"I have been a cosmetologist for 25 years, and I have been bleaching my hair since I was 16 years old, I am now 50 something. I have tried numerous bleaches over the years, and I normally stick to Wella. I thought I would branch out and try yet another bleach. I have fine hair that is strong and can take a beating and still come back to life. This bleach gave me more breakage than any other I have used. It lifted fine, which most bleaches will do if you use a 30, 40 or 50 volume developer. However, I have not ever had the damage with any bleach like this one. I would never use this on a client, and I would never use this product again. I am so glad I only bought a single packet to try. I plan to try the ION bleach the next time since it too has gotten rave reviews. Sigh!"

Review 13 for L'Oreal Quick Blue Powder Lightener 1 lb.
Pros: lightens quickly, lifts many levels, easy to use
"I'm in school for cosmetology and I purchased this myself for doing my hair and friends hair and loved how well it worked from the start. Now we have this at school which makes me pretty happy since I'm already use to using it. Lightens very fast but if you use higher volume peroxide with it you need to be careful because it can be extremely damaging but if you use it correctly you'll be okay. Also, do not stand over it when mixing it. It'll give you a nose bleed and make you sick if you breathe it in."

Great purchase
Date:April 1, 2012
Pros: not very damaging great value no strong smell
Cons: none!
"I have tried other bleaches but this one and the kaleidocolors are my favorites. This is actually the first time I've tried quick blue. Even with a 30 vol. developer, my hair didn't get too damaged. Of course your hair is going to be very dry after bleaching it no matter what so expect that and of course you're going to need a toner so you get an even color after you bleach. No matter which bleach you use, your hair will always turn yellowish/orangish. I would rather use kaliedocolors bleach because it bleaches my hair within 10 minutes with very little damage. But this is a great bleach. Would definitely use again."

My Go-To Bleach
Date:March 25, 2012
Pros: easy to use, does the job, low fumes, i can choose my developer
Cons: can be expensive but worth it
"I have been bleaching my hair on and off for almost 6 years now in order to put various colors in it. If you're looking for something to give you WHITE hair, this will do it, but not in one treatment, because no bleach will do it in one treatment unless you already have very blonde hair. Period. My hair is a sandy brown and I can get it snow white with about 2 applications (+ toner and purple shampoo). When I went from almost black to white, it took 5 applications, which was to be expected. There isn't a lot of fumes when I use this either, which I like, and it's really easy to use. Bleach damages hair, no matter the brand, so buy a deep conditioner too. I love this stuff and swear by it."

works!
Date:March 22, 2012
Pros: lightens hair, easy directions
Cons: all the cons of any bleach
"im Latina an my hairs natural color is dark brown almost black .. it took me about 3-4 bleach sessions to get to almost platinum blonde! any bleach is going damage and dry out your hair so do some extra tlc for your hair before and after bleaching. also wear a shower cap or bag over ur hair while your waiting for your hair to bleach so it doesnt dry out . this works wayyyy better then just letting the air hit it."

Great bleach!
Date:March 13, 2012
Pros: quick
"I had dyed my hair black 7 months ago after having bright tomato red hair for a year. After using this bleach for 40 minutes, my roots were yellow blonde and the rest of my hair(past my shoulders) was a darker blonde that was not brassy at all! I recommend this bleach to everyone! It works very quick and lightens a lot! I also got it on sale for $15, so the price was very good. My hair is noticeably damaged compared to how it first was, but it's nothing a good deep conditioning treatment can't fix!"

Excellent Bleach
Date:December 15, 2011
Pros: lifts fast, blue bleach helps diminish orange tones, easy to use
Cons: expensive, smells strongly like any bleach would
"I have medium brown hair naturally, and although it's been every color, platinum blonde has always been my favorite. My hair had a lot of auburn tones left in it when I started using this, and within 2 applications using a purple toner also, I have beautiful white hair. When I do my roots for touch-ups some times I have to leave it on a little longer than 50 minutes in order to get it past the yellow stage and into pale yellow where I can tone it. Yes, it is very damaging, but it's bleach, and bleach is always very damaging. This stuff works great, I won't use any other type of bleach on my hair."

New At Bleach... Great Results!
Date:December 7, 2011
Pros: got the black out in one use!, no hair loss!
Cons: dried hair
"I have been dying my hair (thin and not horribley unhealthy but not in great condition) black for about two years. I tried to use COLOR FIX with less than acceptable results. COLOR FIX really just made my roots red/orange and did not touch my tips... but this is what I expected knowing my hair was know to suck in color.
I did some research and found QUICK BLUE with developer as a method to remove black or other dark colors fast! I used a 30 volume developer with two packs (4oz.) of QUICK BLUE and left it in for 50 mins. My roots were yellow (I let them grow out about 2 inches) and my hair was ORANGE! So I used the 30 volume developer with two more packets of QUICK BLUE and let it set for another 50 mins.
My fina color was white/yellow roots and light pinkish tips...not too bad considering I dyed it a light brown after.
Being a NEW BLEACHER I was really impressed with this product.
***Ever using bleach you are always having the risk of damaging your hair! Be aware of hair conidtion before AND after use! CONDITION CONDITION CONDITION! ***
After two bleachings and dying in one day fried my hair but I think its worth getting the BLACK OUT!"

"Hey everyone ! im brooklynn im currently only 13 and i bought this when it happended to be on sale for $11.99 . I thought spending $24.00 dollars was way to high for me. Anyways, it works wonderfully ! i used the 30 volume developer with it and did all my hair blonde. it has previously been died and i didn't want my hair to fall out ,but i took the risk and did it anyway. It turned out pretty nice after just 2 - 3 bleachings . and i deffinetly recommend it for each everyone of you ! :D"
