Still straightening strong

"I've had this flat iron for 1-1/2 to 2 years now and it still works as great as when I first bought it. I was really hesitant to buy it because of the price. I'd never spent over $25-$30 on a flat iron before, but I do not regret the extra expense because I really like this best out of all the flat irons I have, and I have about 5. I think it does the job faster and better than the others. I have very thick naturally curly hair. I can get my hair straight with my Ion Anti-Frizz hairdryer, but as soon as I get around any humidity, the curls/frizz appear. That does not happen when I finish off with this flat iron. It gets the sections straight with just one pass.
The only thing I wish is that they made one with bigger plates. My hair is shoulder-length right now and it doesn't take much time at all to straighten, but I am letting it grow out and I'm wondering if it would be easier to do if the plates were bigger...maybe not."

"My hair is very curly and very unmangeable. This flat iron made is easy to straighten my hair. It cut my straightening time in half. My hair looks so shiny and natural that my friends don't believe me when they say that my hair is naturally curly. I love this flat iron and wouldn't trade it in for anything! :)"

"This item has disappointed me. It does not 'seal' the hair and tends to pulls he hair. If you have a nice thick piece it's fine but when you do the thinner parts it feels as though it's ripping your hair out. I would not buy nother ION."
