"Worth every penny! Heats up quick! I can take big sections of hair instead of taking small ones and then it takes for ever! Being that it gets so hot I get done strightening my hair fast cause I have semi thick hair. Oh and it's cute!"

"I had been in the market for a good 1" flat iron because I have thick but kinda short hair and I had looked on ebay and was considering a Chi but couldn't quiet talk myself into paying that much for one. I had went to Sally's today and bought the GVP pink camo flat iron and I am very satisfied. I had borrowed one from someone who had the black one with the gold plates and the pink plates seem to work just as good. Now my two daughters want me to purchase them each one!!"

"I had never bought a flat iron before and did not want to spend the high price for one just to check it out (even though I was pretty sure I would like and use it all the time.) With the great price on this one, it was the perfect time for me to get one. I am so glad I did. Bye, bye curling iron! Not to mention it is fun to look at. Love the designs on them. Pros: does what it is supposed to do and more
"First there is no Sally store close by and the iron arrived quickly, which is important to me. I have very very thick hair and require a good iron that works. Hair straighteners that you can purchase for more simply never did the trick on my hair. There is a substantial price difference between ones I've bought in the past and the GVP Camo one here so I wasn't expecting much from it but I was tired of spending a lot of money on flat irons that died after a month. Well after a couple of months of using it I can only say this iron is amazing. Of all the others I've bought and used none has left my hair so beautiful... even the ones costing three times as much. The funky pink camo design is a bonus! I would recommend it to EVERYONE!!"

"After reading all the reviews on this flat iron, I decided to go to Sally's to buy it. I got the pink camo b/c I thought it was really cute. Besides the color, it works really good. It make your hair soft and straight. I use my flat iron with Chi Silk Infusion and Chi Keratin Mist."

"I've never used any other high end irons, but I cannot imagine they work any better than this one does. At the sale price, plus my Sally Beauty discount plus a 15% off coupon I had - OMG I LOVE IT! I have fine but tightly curled hair, about bra strap length in the back shoulder length in front. This iron makes it smooth and silky with little effort, does not seem to be causing damage, and even makes the ends soft. It heats up fast! It is so light weight and is comfortable to use. I use it with the Beyond the Zone Turn up the heat styling spray by Sally. I love it! I cannot say enough good things about it! I've been wearing my hair natural for the past four years, but straight polish hair is more suitable for my new career and really more face-flattering so I'm going back to blow outs and this iron will let me maintain my look between salon visits. It's pink, cute, reasonably priced and WORKS GREAT!"

"Our neighbor has the GVP in black and my daughter has very thick curly hair. We were always borrowing the neighbors because even my ION wouldn't work on her hair. So for Easter I got her the pink one and was extremely disappointed. I'm guessing that the pink coating is the problem. The black one has the gold plates. This did not make her hair silky like the black one does and didn't grip the hair as well. It took twice as long to get the hair straight and even then, it wasn't perfect. I returned it and got the black on and even bought the black for myself to replace my ION."

"I was out looking for a new straightener today and stopped in at Sally's to check out their selection. My sister uses Generic Value Products all the time and recommended them to me. I brought the straightener home and used it right away. So far I am happy with it, and it does just as good a job as some of the WAY more expensive brands I've tried in the past, such as Paul Mitchell. For the money, you can't beat it! Not only is it a good value, but the pink camo is so cute, too!"
