"This is a fabulous flat iron. I too wanted a Chi but I wasn't sure that I wanted to spend the money on one. I have naturally straight hair but it is very thick. With the cut that I currently have, I need to use a flat iron to smooth everything together. I love this iron, it does get very HOT!!! I use the GVP chi iron guard and it works great to protect my hair from the heat. I highly recommend this flat iron if you dont want to pay the price for the Chi. The ladies at Sally's recommended this flat iron and said that they love it."

"I love this flat iron. heard not so great things on the durablility of a Chi but I really wanted one. Came across this and frigured for the money it was worth a shot. I paid around $60 for mine and it is worth every penny! I have very course curly hair. In the 26 years of my life nothing or no one has ever gotten my hair so straight and smooth. I have no complaints so far!! Just of course be sure to use a heat protectant but that goes for any flat iron. Use common sense people!"
