GREAT PRODUCT!
Date: July 9, 2008
Pros: great value for same product as matrix Cons: none
"This shampoo and conditioner is great for my super curly hair. I like to straighten it sometimes and these products work very well. I used to buy MATRIX Sleek.look all the time, before I found it GVP at Sally's. I also use (Paul Mitchell) Super Skinny Serum GVP it works perfectly, just like the more expensive salon brand."

Really good for hair that needs smoothing!
Date: June 22, 2008
Pros: really moisturizes! Cons: gvp so the packaging is really bland
"This product is perfect for my frizz-prone, thick, brown, naturally curly hair. I often straighten my hair and this product helps make my straightened hair look a lot better. I could instantly tell a difference the first time I used this product with the conditioner! It even keeps my hair nice and moisturized in this hot, humid weather. I haven't ever tried the real thing, but this is worth because it's still a 1/3 of the cost! As it says on the bottle, it is for curly, frizzy, dry hair. If your hair is naturally thin and flat, then you obviously wouldn't need this product. I also do not think it smells that bad."

I dont like it.
Date: May 1, 2008
Pros: wont need gel Cons: sticky and stinky
"I have tried this shampoo and other Generic products and I dont like them. They smell awful. And they are just greasy. They don't seem to do anything but gunk up my hair. and its not a soft greasy...its a sticky greasy. like a bad combo of gel and vege oil. eeeww. I may be wrong for assuming this...but....I think these are geared for thicker more ethnic hair. I know a g/f of mine with thick long black wavy hair uses and loves it....but for my thin, straight as a board, hair, it just is all wrong."
