Pros: a little bit goes a long way, leaves a great clean feeling, very comparable to the name brand product, great bargain, aromatherapy
Cons: letters come off bottle after longgg period of use
"I was recommended the name brand version of this product where I get my hair cut. My wife informed that Sally's carries this generic version that's just as good so I gave it a try.. I have been using this Tea Tree Shampoo, and conditioner, for about a year and I am very pleased with the quality and value.
I love the calming aromatherapy it provides and fresh minty clean feeling so there hasn't been a need for me to try the name brand. Our young son has sensitive skin, especially to hard products such as adult soaps, and infrequently he uses the shampoo and conditioner (moreso as a joke: look at me daddy, I'm using your shampoo). He doesn't have any issue. I'm not a physician so I can't recommend this for people with skin conditions..you should speak to your doctor first <<end of legal disclaimer :-) >>
Since it's a "bulk" item that doesn't require a lot to be used with each washing, when Sally's has a sale I get an extra set of the shampoo and conditioner.
The only negative I have about the product is the packaging. From my first purchase after a couple of months of use, I noticed a couple of small black dots would come off on my hands. I chuckled when I found out it was letters from the bottle. The inconvenience would come into play if the letters completely rub off before the shampoo/condictioner is gone and then need to figure out which bottle is which. Compared to the price and value of the product, I overlook this."
